Bio from Maud

Maud is a rider from the APB Development Team who made waves by finishing Paris-Roubaix as the youngest rider ever in 2021. Being only 18 years old Maud kept pushing over the wet and slippery cobbles and finished in 31st place.

“I started racing when I was really young, just seven years old. My grandpa rode for fun and I tagged along in the summer. I never left the bike since.

For me the speed of racing is what attracts me. My bike takes me to places I would never have visited otherwise. I love that about my job.

I do well in races where the circumstances are really tough with wind and rain. This year I hope to learn a lot from Jolien because she is so experienced. At NXTG we get a great race program. Last year I did Paris-Roubaix and that was a dream come true. The Tour of Flanders is also a dream race for me and the Tour de France of course!
